What is Life Coaching?

As a Life Coach, I work together with Clients on personal growth, career development, and life transitions like retirement or parenting. We tackle relationship dynamics, health concerns, body image, weight management, and other wellness aspects of life.

Life coaching is a skill aimed at facilitating progress in diverse areas of life. Together, we identify goals and opportunities, overcome obstacles, and create action plans to achieve the desired potential.

Some key aspects of life coaching:

Goal-Oriented Approach

I help Clients clarify their objectives and develop strategies to reach their goals. Together, we establish specific, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals—ones my Clients’ are genuinely excited to pursue and start working on!

Action and Accountability

I'm committed to supporting Clients to take action towards their goals and provide accountability along the way. As a Coach, I want to help my Clients’ overcome procrastination, uncertainty, self-doubt, and other obstacles that may impede them from reaching their true potential.

Client-Centered Process

We all have the answers within ourselves. My role is to facilitate self-discovery and empowerment. I create a safe place, employ active listening, powerful questioning, and other techniques to guide my Clients in exploring their values, beliefs, and motivations.

Holistic Approach

Throughout our sessions, we delve into various aspects of life including career, relationships, health, and overall well-being. We will work on integrating all areas of your life.

Confidential and Non-Judgmental Environment

Confidentiality is very important to me. In all Coaching sessions, I am committed to creating a space that maintains strict confidentiality to foster trust, openness and growth. A place where my Clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without the fear of judgment.

Professional Relationship

While Coaches may provide support and encouragement, we are distinct from therapists, consultants, or mentors. A coaching relationship is a profession focused on helping Clients achieve their goals rather than providing advice or solutions. If I determine that a Client would benefit from a different form of support, I may recommend a therapist or another professional best suited to address their needs.

Continuous Learning and Growth

As a Life Coach, I often engage in ongoing professional development to enhance my skills and knowledge. This involves attending workshops, clinics, and participating in mentoring programs to improve my coaching effectiveness. As a graduate of the Canada Coach Academy, I am now working towards obtaining my ICF certification.

Most importantly, life coaching is a collaborative process between myself as a coach and my client.

To partner lovingly with you to help find your courage, strength and your true potential.
